Ashley’s hair was pure white and very beautiful, but quite stiff and short. It appears that it was all overcoat. When researching by breed, it appears that some breeds do not have an undercoat. Ashley is one of them. The overcoat had to be mixed with a small amount of wool as the hair did not tangle and fell apart. I managed to spin it into yarn and crochet it into a necklace, bracelet and rose brooch. The left over yarn was handwoven and made into a pendant head.
