The heart motifs were knitted with our beloved cat Lulu and Coco’s yarn. These were probably the very first work that I spun and knitted with pet hair. Lulu passed away at age 19 on October 2015, and two months later we lost Coco on Christmas eve at the age of 15, Fortunately both of them left a lot of fluffy soft hair. Starting with these heart motifs, every year on my husband’s birthday, I gave him motifs and accessories woven from Coco’s and Lulu’s hair yarn. At home, at work, even at travel, we keep and carry those accessories with us.
